Mrs Sophia Gass, is part of the creative team. She is 96 years old, and has, over the last few years, knitted and prayed for over 2270 dolls for the Valuable to Jesus Campaign. Having recovered from a stroke a few years back, Mrs Gass never stopped for a moment, but recovered to continue producing dolls to reach the children broken through sexual abuse, pornography and exploitation. Mrs Gass not only volunteers her time, but she also donates all materials used for her knitting endeavour. The area coordinators for Gauteng, Mrs Annelize Fourie and Mrs Ronelle Roux, decided to host a special morning tea to honour Mrs Gass for going the extra mile. She received a certificate and a framed picture in recognition of her efforts. Mrs Gass shows no sign of slowing down either; being determined to continue doing her best for us and for that we are so thrilled.
